Chernivtsi community “Aviv” observes all religious holidays and commemorative dates.
Every week, community members gather to celebrate Shabbat. At the end of Shabbat, Avdala is held, where we all wish each other a good week.
During the year, we celebrate all the holidays of the calendar cycle together, such as Rosh Hashanah, Sukkot, Hanukkah, Shavuot, Purim, Lag-ba-Omer ta Shavuot, and celebrate the fasts of Yom Kippur and 9 Ava.
Guests from other cities of Ukraine or Israel often come to the holidays. Holidays are accompanied by prayers and songs in an atmosphere of joy and coziness.
