Yesterday, our community had a special honor – conduct an Avdala ceremony for the participants of the HomeCare program coordinators seminar from Hesed.
Avdala – it is not just a Shabbat-ending rite. This is the moment of transition from the sacred to the everyday, from silence to action, by candlelight – to the light, which each of us brings to the world through our actions. It was extremely valuable for us to share this moment with people, who serve others every day, support, help and warm hearts.
We are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this workshop, for a warm atmosphere, sincerity and openness. Let Avdala's light inspire you for a new week of work, full of power, meaning and goodness.
